SECURITY

01. Avoid
walking on the streets with too much money, jewels
and valuable objects, specially in areas with
greater concentration of people.
02. Avoid driving
with the car window opened, specially at night.
03. At night, avoid
parking in deserted and poorly lighted places.
TRAFFIC
01.
Rush hours in Brazil are from 11:30am to
1:30pm, and from 5:30pm to 7pm.
02. Always have a
pre-paid parking ticket (called "rotativo"
or "faixa azul") inside your car. It
can be bought in most of the magazines tents in
the city. In many commercial areas and in the
hospital area, you must use it to park in the
streets.
03. Be very alert
to the street sinalizations to prevent fines and
the tow of your car.
WEATHER
01.
Belo Horizonte's weather is pleasant most of the
year. The temperature ranges from average 16ºC
to 31ºC, most of the time in a average of
21ºC. Winter is dry and summer is very rainy.
The city counts on the protection of a mountain
range called "Serra do Curral", that
prevents the strongest winds. The air humidity
is about 65% and the annual rain average is 1600mm,
mostly between the months of October and March.

NOISE

According to the law, you should avoid making
loud noises from 10pm to 7am, specially if you
